12-month warranty

Every Happycall product sold in Australia is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase. If something is wrong with how it was made, we replace it.

What is covered

  • Manufacturing faults in the body, base, handle or lid
  • Coating that peels, blisters or lifts within the warranty period under normal domestic use
  • Warped or uneven bases that were not caused by heat shock
  • Hinges, gaskets and handles on Double Pans that fail under normal use

What is not covered

A nonstick coating wears with use. It is not a lifetime surface, and gradual loss of release over time is normal rather than a fault. The warranty also excludes damage caused by:

  • Overheating, cooking on high heat or leaving an empty pan on the stove
  • Metal utensils, steel wool, scourers or abrasive cleaners
  • Dishwashers, bleach, oven cleaner or aerosol cooking sprays
  • Cold water on a hot pan (heat shock), drops or knocks
  • Commercial or restaurant use
  • Normal wear to stainless steel, enamel or wooden handles — including heat tints on stainless steel

How to make a claim

  1. Email hello@happycall.com.au with your order number or receipt, and clear photos of the problem, the cooking surface and the base of the pan.
  2. We reply within 2 business days. In most cases we can assess from the photos.
  3. If we need to inspect the item, we send you a prepaid Australia Post return label. Keep the original box if you still have it — it is the safest way to send cookware.
  4. Once the fault is confirmed, your replacement ships from Chatswood, Sydney, usually within 2 business days.

The Double Pan silicone gasket is a wear part, not a warranty item. It lasts one to two years depending on use and replacements are available.

Your rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This warranty is in addition to those rights.
